**Right of Return**  
 
Internet product sales are governed by Articles 45 to 67 of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Italian Consumer Code). The consumer has a period of 14 (fourteen) days to withdraw from a distance or off-premises contract. This regulation grants the consumer the right to withdraw from contracts or contractual proposals, guaranteeing the right to return the purchased product and obtain a refund of the incurred expense. The right of withdrawal does not apply to shipping costs or to sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to hygiene or health protection reasons, which have been opened after delivery. The customer is responsible for the decrease in the value of goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products, for example: in the absence of original packaging; or missing integral parts of the product. This reduction will be quantified upon the product's return to the warehouse indicated by us and may vary from a minimum of 5% to a maximum of 25% of the purchase price. The right of withdrawal is reserved exclusively for consumers (individuals who purchase goods not for purposes related to their professional, commercial, or entrepreneurial activity), so it cannot be exercised by legal entities or individuals acting for purposes related to their professional activity. The return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  
**Return Request for Registered Users**  
We will unhesitatingly accept the return of any item as long as it is intact and in perfect condition, refunding the full amount (except for packaging and shipping costs as provided by Italian law). Include a copy of the delivery note in the return package, which must be correctly packaged, and send it to:

We recommend using an insured mailing system for the return; please note that items delivered to an address different from the return service will not be considered.

**Damaged Products**  
If you believe that any defects are due to the courier that delivered the package, returns and refunds will only be accepted by Ophiralux if, upon receiving the order from the courier, you noted "goods accepted with reservation."

**Refund Times and Procedures**  
Ophiralux commits to making the refund no later than 14 days from the date of receipt of the returned goods, using the same payment method used by the consumer. If the recipient of the products listed in the order is different from the person who made the payment for those products, the refunded amount for the returned items will be credited by Ophiralux solely to the person who made the payment.

**When is a Return Not Allowed?**  
The right of return is not allowed in cases of:  
a) the purchase of sealed products that are not suitable for return due to hygiene or health protection reasons and which have been opened after delivery;  
b) products that are not substantially intact or that show damage, discrepancies, deterioration, and/or alterations of any kind unless the handling that caused the damage was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the products;  
c) goods that, by their nature, cannot be returned or are likely to deteriorate or change rapidly;  
d) goods made to measure or personalised.
Ophiralux S.r.l. is liable to the consumer (an individual who, when entering into the contract, acted for purposes unrelated to their entrepreneurial or professional activity) for any conformity defect existing at the time of delivery (Articles 128-135 of Legislative Decree No. 206 of 06/09/2005). The legal warranty in favour of the consumer covers conformity defects existing at the time of delivery, which manifest within 10 days from the product’s delivery. Any external damage to the packaging must be immediately reported to the courier by noting "SPECIFIC RESERVATION OF DETECTED DAMAGE" on the delivery receipt. As provided by current regulations, the maximum time to report transport damage to Ophiralux S.r.l. is 8 days from the moment of receipt. In case of a conformity defect, the consumer has the right to the free restoration of the conformity of the goods through repair or replacement, or to an adequate price reduction or termination of the contract, in accordance with the provisions of Article 130 of Legislative Decree No. 206/2005.
